I’ve been playing the drums and recording music for almost 30 years. There’s nothing else I’d rather do for a living, and to do it independently is a dream come true. Music is a science, an art, and a necessity of life. I love knowing I can make someone dance, or mix a record they want to blast in their car, or help get a positive message across, or make someone realize they CAN do this and it’s FUN.
Production / Session Drumming
The recording studio is my second home. I've been on both sides of the glass since the 90's and been a part of hundreds of recordings. Recording drum and percussion tracks is one of my specialties, and this can be done in person or via file exchange. If you’re in the NJ/NY area I can also record you and/or your group. With more and more recording being done remotely these days, I’m happy to bring your project together in post production. I excel at edits like track cleanup, composites, time and pitch correction, and noise removal. I can mix and/or master tracks recorded almost anywhere.
My mission with all music is to serve the song and the artist’s vision. I’m happy to abide by your strict guidelines or else try things on my own. Sometimes the best drum part or the right mix comes naturally, but other times we need more than one attempt or a few options. Live Drummer For Hire
Drumming is my first language, so if you need to hire someone who can adapt to any setting, knows hundreds of songs, can learn quickly and even improvise, I’m your guy. Like wearing the right outfit, I try to bring a proper sized drum kit for the space and most importantly, adjust my playing level to the room. I can also provide background vocals and even sing lead on some cover songs. I own a personal vocal monitor that quickly adapts to any PA system.
